Bacon Jalapeno Poppers

When you need an absolutely satisfying snack for a party or appetizer, look no further than this recipe for smoky and creamy Bacon Jalapeno Poppers.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 jalapeno peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese grated
  • 2 Tablespoons chives chopped
  • 4 ounces bacon cooked and chopped
  • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Cut each jalapeno pepper in half lengthwise. Use a spoon to scrape the vein and seeds from each half. Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  • In a medium bowl, mix all the ingredients for the filling.
  • Divide the filling between the jalapeno halves and top with more grated cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then turn the broiler on to brown the tops.
  • Serve immediately.
